Update on Floor

A trapdoor has been discovered in the stage which will allow access under the floor.

Dip in the floor at Newton Community Centre (DE55 5TE)

The floor at Newton Community Centre was put in during the first half of 2019.

The person who originally installed the floor was contacted and they said that it looks like one of the packers has slipped. He said it is safe to walk on, but would need fixing.

 

The photograph below shows the flooring in Newton Community Centre. As you look towards the doors, you should see a rectangle outlined in yellow and black. This shows the place where the flooring has dipped.

This is a time lapse of the sprung floor being laid so that the construction of the flooring can be seen.
